| Description | 🔹 Endoscopy Unit Overview The unit is a tertiary referral center providing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for adult inpatients and outpatients with: Gastrointestinal (GI) conditions Pulmonary diseases Minor renal tract issues Patient Population: Adults, mixed gender Operating Hours: Sunday–Thursday: 07:00–17:30 Weekends & After Hours: On-call service Capacity: 6 Procedure Rooms 12 Beds Occupancy Rate: 70% 🔹 Primary Diagnoses: GI tract/hepatology disorders Pulmonary diseases Urology (e.g., kidney stones) 🔹 Procedures Performed: GI Procedures: Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, ERCP, Capsule Endoscopy, Banding, Sclerotherapy, APC Pulmonary Procedures: Bronchoscopy, Sputum Induction, Endo-bronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) Other: Ultrasound-guided biopsy, Percutaneous feeding gastrostomy, Infliximab/Vendolizumab infusion 🔹 Model of Care: Total Patient Care using a Partnership Model, emphasizing collaborative, patient-centered care. |
